Dr Erica Murphy

Dr Murphy graduated from UCD School of Medicine in 2008.
She then completed her intern year at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.
She subsequently spent time working in Australia in Royal Perth Hospital rotating through various hospital specialities.

On returning to Ireland, she underwent vocational training in General Practice, completing her specialist training in 2014.
She worked in several practices in Dun Laoghaire- Rathdown and the wider Dublin area before joining Dr Mary Short at Rockcourt Medical in 2019.
She is a Member of the Irish College of General practitioners. She has a Diploma in Women’s Health from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK.
She is a tutor in LARC (long acting reversible contraception) insertion, is a certified smear taker and a member of the British Menopause Society.
She also holds a Diploma in Medicine for the Elderly for the Royal college of Physicians of Ireland.
Dr Murphy is now the Principal GP at Rockcourt Medical.
